Architecture moves and inspires me. There is something very gratifying in using light and moment to illuminate a great structure. For many years, I photographed people at work across the United States and in several foreign countries for annual reports, brochures and advertising. But I have always been interested in buildings. As this interest grew, I realized that it was time to change the direction of my work. This interest also led me to return to graduate school for a MA in historic preservation and I am now an architectural historian as well as a photographer. I am a Part-Time Associate Teaching Professor at the Parsons division of the New School University in New York City where I have been teaching photography for over thirty years.
